Business/Company RFC # Format

  • 12 characters in length (no dashes)
  • The first 3 characters represent the business name. It could be different based on what the SAT has available.
  • Example: Uline Shipping Supplies S de RL de CV = USS
  • The next 6 characters represent the company’s registration date (YYMMDD)
  • Example: 800130
  • The last 3 characters are assigned randomly by the tax authority
  • Example: MH7
  • The complete RFC number of the example above is USS800130MH7
