Why am I being charged sales tax on my internet order?

Your "Ship-To" address determines the sales tax rate you are charged (TX tax is based on Uline's warehouse address).

• Uline is required to charge sales tax in all states EXCEPT:
  • DE, MT, NH and OR.
  • Sales tax is collected for AK jurisdictions that have joined the Alaska Remote Seller Sales Tax Commission (ARSSTC).
• In addition, shipping and handling charges are taxable in all states EXCEPT:
  • DE, FL, IA, ID, IL, KS, MA, MI, MO, MT, NH, OK, OR, UT and WY.
  • Select cities tax shipping and handling in AK and CO.
  • Handling fees are taxable in CA.
