If a package is 3 cubic feet (5,184 cubic inches) or larger, a "dimensional weight" is calculated. UPS will calculate their shipping charges based on the dimensional weight or actual package weight, whichever is heavier.
DIM weight cutoffs apply to UPS Ground service only. Please check the UPS website for information pertaining to other services such as UPS Worldwide.
To determine which Uline boxes ship using UPS DIM weights, see:
Uline box list by size with DIM weight calculations
To determine which Uline boxes are the maximum size recommended to avoid additional charges under the UPS DIM weight rule, see: UPS Dimensional Boxes
**Note: All Uline boxes list inside dimensions and have a possible manufacturer variance of +/- 1/8". We have attempted to take this into account when developing the above list of Uline DIM weight boxes. However, it is recommended that you double check the size of your box before shipping.
